Project Details
Inspired by the theme “結 Connecting the Unconnected” of TEDxTokyo 2014, every element in this performance is dedicated to embodying the imagery of the character “結” and dots and lines being united: Dancers’ choreography and the use of ribbons draw lines of the kanji character “結” in the air. The music emphasizes the speed and rhythm of the brush strokes.
TEDxTokyo 2014 was taken place at Shibuya Hikarie. Opening performance Japanese Calligraphy: Aoi Yamaguchi, in collaboration with Rhythmic Gymnastic Dance: Sadalsuud led by Shizuka Yabuuchi.
