I worked on a unique calligraphy artwork for Oribe Hair Care, a award-winning luxury hair care brand discovered by Oribe Canales, for their limited edition Holiday Collection packaging. My choice of word is "想 (sou ・omo-u)", which embodiesa deep, mindful gratitude and love for those you hold most dear, as well as an inspired imagination.

The original work of art uses sumi ink on highest-grade gasen-shi paper to create a calligraphy symbol that intertwines traditional technique with creative expression, resulting in a fluid nijimi (blurred) effect that makes the characters feel alive. Close-up sections of the artwork "想" in its abstract style envelops the beautiful gift boxes in various sizes and shapes.
