Collaborative Live Calligraphy Performance with SF Taiko Dojo for Suntory Whiskey Toki

Commissioned by BeamSuntory Whiskey Toki, I performed a live calligraphy in collaboration with San Francisco Taiko Dojo at Bently Reserve in San Francisco. Inspired by the name of the whiskey 季 (Toki), which means "Time" in Japanese, I have chosen to write "悠然" (Yu-zen), which means "calmness / composure". It describes the vastness and calmness of the flow of time; every living things in this world ages, slowly and nicely, through countless cycle of seasons.
